I’m sure everyone in Sheffield is getting excited tonight as The Crookes return home to play The Leadmill.
I caught up with the wonderful George and Tom from the band while they’re on tour in Leeds. Here we chat all about their highlights so far, how they’re getting on with fellow Sheffield band Hey Sholay, plans for the third album and why Russel bared a lot of flesh in Munich.

Tonight The Crookes return home to Sheffield to play The Leadmill.
I caught up with the band before they played at Cockpit in Leeds to film this live session.
Here they perform an acoustic version of their gorgeous song ‘Where Did Our Love Go?’ from their latest album ‘Hold Fast’.
It was filmed in the wonderful music library at Leeds University. I didn’t want to leave the room. It was incredible.
